Applied Cyber Team Wins National CPTC Championship

Applied Cyber Team wins the National Collegiate Penetration Testing Competition (CPTC) Championship at the Rochester Institute of Technology, November 3-5, 2017.

The Applied Cyber Team traveled to the Rochester Institute of Technology for the National Collegiate Penetration Testing Competition (CPTC) and brought home the National Championship with a 1st place win against the top teams in the US. The team was honored to represent Stanford University at this prestigious offensive competition and humbled to compete against such outstanding talent. The RIT faculty, staff, students, and alumni hosted an exceptionally well-orchestrated competition with tireless grace and hospitality.

The Applied Cyber CPTC Team consisted of Paul Crews, Albert Liang, Kate Stowell, Travis Lanham, Wilson Nguyen, Colleen Dai, Ali Malik (alternate), and coach Alex Keller.
